Job Summary and Qualifications

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiological procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the ARRT. Technologist may be asked to work a shift not normally worked to cover the needs of the Radiology Department. Follows Service Behaviors when interacting with patients & patient’s families, physicians and other hospital employees. Other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the Imaging Services Department.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Associate Degree, or Certificate, or Bachelors Degree
